Sputhe Engineering announces a Hydraulic Kick Cover for all Harley-Davidson Big Twin 4-Speed transmissions from 1936 to 1985. The cover is CNC-machined from 6061-T651 aluminum billet and show-polished. The hard anondized piston with two seals travels in a 1 1/2" bore, tool steel slave cylinder. The kicker shaft turns on two oil impregnated bronze bushings. The compact design clears all kick start style exhaust pipes and early one-piece kick arms with integral shafts. Polished, stainless Allen bolts, chrome bleeder valve, chrome banjo bolt and crush washers are included. The interest in Old School choppers with large engines created a need for a four-speed kicker cover that would reduce clutch lever effort. Sputhe Engineering also makes a compact cable-operated ball and ramp clutch release cover for 4-speed Big Twin transmissions.
